1. Schedule Time For Your Creativity
Life happens, and sometimes your schedule can get a bit hectic. Trust me, I know, but if you really want to tap into your creativity, you have to create a time slot solely for that. It doesn’t mean you have to do it all in one setting. Break it up like we do, use one slot to brainstorm your ideas, the next slot to put those ideas into motion and then so on so forth. As a creative myself, many times my ideas are sporadic, however, when I sit down and focus and gather my ideas collectively my outcome is instantly gratifying!
2. Don’t Stop at Failure, Turn it into Success
First of all, remove no and failure from your vocabulary. How will you know what works if you don’t try? I have heard “NO” in so many different terms but it has not stopped me once. As a matter of fact, it pushes me to go even harder. If you did something that “failed” take the lesson and apply what you have learned as many times as you need until it becomes your success.

3. Carry a Journal and a Pen
If you think carrying a journal and a pen is too much, then are you a true creative? With your mind constantly racing, you may need to jot notes down here and there. I also find that writing things on paper manifests itself just as much as you speaking words into manifesting. If you just don’t have access to pen and paper, I’m sure you’re reading this from a pc, phone or tablet. Start up a notepad entry and just continue adding to it throughout the day as ideas come to your mind. It’s the same concept, KEEP THE IDEAS ROLLING!
4. Listen to Music
You can either listen to music or make music. We get a kick from making music because we are always listening to what we consider classic anyway, new mainstream music doesn’t sound the same. It definitely takes a load off and puts you in a different headspace when you jam out to your favorite tunes. If you haven’t heard our latest track, check it out here!
5. Workout
A good workout increases oxygen flow. More oxygen flowing to your brain allows you to think clearer. Also, working out is a great stress reliever. So if you ever find yourself stuck, take a few minutes and work it out!
6. Smile and Laugh
Did you know it takes more out of you when you frown? From that logic alone, you should practice smiling all the time. Laughing eases the tension and it also helps you focus, believe it or not. Those who laugh more will live longer.
7. Challenge Assumptions
Most of our thoughts are assumptions, no one person is 100% right. So if you feel the need to challenge an assumption, do it. You can end up teaching that person something new or a different angle to approach said assumption. Also, while explaining your side, you come up with more ideas for yourself as well.
8. Never Stop Learning
As long as you are alive and your brain is able to function, you should never stop learning. Every day is different, really every second forward is different from the last. So you are automatically placed in a constant learning loop. Ask questions, feed your curiosity and learn as much as you can. Aside from my daily questions to the people around me, I do my best to learn more about my trade however I can. I learned how to make this website off of teaching myself more from online resources. You have access to the world wide web, make proper use of it. Be sure to do your proper verification and cross check your sources for consistency in your results. Find free courses, look up articles, look up tutorials on YouTube, etc. Learning has no limit, you just have to tap into it and take it seriously.
9. Eat and Drink Antioxidants for your Fuel
If you want to keep going, you need energy. Pump yourself up with a good boost of antioxidants in a smoothie, salad, fruit drink, etc. Antioxidants neutralize your body against free radicals and play a major role in the process of cell division making it very vital for proper functionality. I actually mention how you can eat your water in a previous article I wrote, you can read more here if you’d like to see the fruits listed. They were all great energy boosters with great combinations.
10. Get Out of your Comfort Zone
I didn’t want to include this on here but here I am stepping out of my comfort zone, so that means you can too! Try it sometime, start out with once a week and do something completely out of your norm and you’ll be surprised what you may come up with. Especially if you find yourself stuck on a project you’re working on. I know my comfort levels but despite all that I do on the web and in person- I am shy at heart- I am always nervous when it comes to speaking in front of people. I have gotten better over the years but I’ll throw myself on the line by accepting to perform where I’ve never been. I competed in a whole pageant and won even though I am shy, if you take anything from me, use this as a lesson to step out of the box. The sky is the limit, in my world ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
